Al-Andalus, In the Shadow of Pomegranates. Small village in Moorish Spain, on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Mulhacén, the highest peak, snow-covered even into the spring. Legend has it that Muley Abul Hassan, second to last of the kings of Granada, was buried there. He refused to pay tribute to Castile.
